The Eaves

The Eaves are the most private rooms in the house. Ceilings slope from eight feet to five and a half against the dormer. The walls are thick, the doors close firmly, and the staircase stops at your landing.

The view is what the guests come back for. Two of the three look north across the rooftops of Aungier Street to the copper spire of Whitefriar's; the third faces east and catches the sun over the Grand Canal at breakfast.

Beds are super-king, tucked under the eaves. Bathrooms are compact but complete - a deep soaking tub, honed limestone, a skylight overhead. There is a small kitchenette with a kettle, milk in a glass bottle, and biscuits from Sheridans.
