Duke's Quarters

Duke's Quarters are the most settled rooms in the house. The walls are panelled to the height of the dado in a deep green-grey, and the window seats are deep enough to sit in.

Each has a proper writing desk set in the window, a reading lamp and a shelf of books chosen for the room. Beds are super-king in Irish oak, and the bathroom has a limestone shower and a soaking tub.

They suit a stay of several nights: there is room to unpack, a wardrobe that closes, and a small table for two.
