Arrival & departure
What time can I check in?
Check-in is from three in the afternoon. Earlier arrivals are welcome to leave luggage with reception from noon.
When is check-out?
Check-out is by eleven. Late checkout to noon is offered where the room allows - just ask the evening before.
Is there parking?
We do not have private parking. Q-Park Drury Street, a two-minute walk, offers a discounted overnight rate for our guests.
Breakfast & the house
Where is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served at Marlin Hotel Dublin, next door on Aungier Street, from half past seven until half past ten. Your room key admits you.
Do you have a bar or restaurant?
No. The Dolphin is a townhouse of twenty-four rooms - no bar, no restaurant. Reception can recommend places nearby and book on your behalf.
Is Wi-Fi included?
Yes, throughout the house, without a login.
Accessibility
Is the house step-free?
The building is a listed Georgian townhouse and has steps at the entrance and between floors. Both rooms in The Annex are reachable via a side ramp and a small lift. Please write to us before booking so we can confirm the room suits your needs.
Do you offer accessible bathrooms?
One Garden Room has a roll-in shower and grab rails. Please request it at time of booking.
Are assistance animals welcome?
Yes, always, in every room.
Policies
What is your cancellation policy?
Flexible bookings can be cancelled without charge up to 48 hours before arrival. Advance-purchase rates are non-refundable.
Are children welcome?
Children over the age of twelve are welcome. The Francis Aungier Suite and the Longford Parlour can add a rollaway bed on request.
Do you allow pets?
Assistance animals only.
Is smoking permitted?
The house is entirely non-smoking, including e-cigarettes.
