The room

Four rooms on the first and second floors, with the sash windows, shutters and cornices the house was built with.

The Georgian Rooms are the house at its plainest and best. Ceilings run to ten feet, the plasterwork is intact, and the windows are tall enough to stand in.

Beds are king-size, custom-built from Irish oak, dressed in undyed Belgian linen. The bathrooms are lined in honed limestone with a rain shower, and there is a writing table under the window.

They look over Aungier Street, and the light is at its best in the morning.
