The room

Five rooms on the upper floors at the rear of the houses, well-proportioned and quiet, looking over the courtyard.

The Townhouse Rooms are the house's everyday rooms - smaller than the ones at the front, but with the same joinery and the same care. They sit at the back, away from the street.

Beds are king-size, dressed in undyed Belgian linen. Bathrooms are lined in limestone with a rain shower. There is a small writing table, a good reading light and a window that opens.

The view is over the rear courtyard and the rooftops beyond, and the mornings are very quiet.
